Wonewoc Community Arts Center and MuseumOur Mission "To be a vibrant regional destination fostering local economic vitality, creative programs, cultivating a dynamic community, delivering an arts education, cultural heritage preservation and creative experiences." As a local arts organization, Wonewoc Community Arts Center and Museum provides several services which fulfill the above mission: Increasing arts programming and opportunities for the public and local support to artists, community groups and schools; Increasing public awareness of and access to the diverse traditions and cultural heritage of the rural region; Advocating for arts education and the value of life-long learning in the arts; Providing technical assistance, linkages, advocacy and other services to individual artists and groups; Increasing awareness of the importance of the arts to the economy of the rural region; and Further serving the public through our regional arts events, special school arts activities and information sharing.
